Wow: Amazing discovery at Gyza Pyramids

According to many international portals, a 4,500-year-old statue of a misterious man has been found just 40 centimeters below ground by a staff of archaeologists near a pyramid in Egypt.

Zahi Hawass, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, stated that the statue is of a seated man adorned with a wig that grazes his musters, his left hand on his thigh and his right hand grasping his knee.

Indeed, this discovery follows the unearthing of a group of 30 mummies at a nearby burial site earlier this year.

The statue was discovered near the pyramid of the fourth-dynasty ruler Menkaure, the smallest in a group of three on the Giza peninsula.

The total surface of Japan has an area of 377,873 km2, and the population reaches the 127 million people. The official currency is the Yen: ¥, and the capital city is Tokyo.

Machu Picchu made of chocolate in Lima Marriott Hotel, Peru

The Christmas season in Lima is full of pines, lights and Santa figures. But this year, the most attractive construction is a Machu Picchu replica (more than 9 feet large) made with 160 kilos of exquisite peruvian chocolate.

Handmade by twelve persons, the work took 45 days to be done. The staff of the Marriot Hotel in Lima is proud of their work, which is now part of the main hall of the hotel until January 5th.

"Usually, we create an european town for Christmas, decorated with cookies and cotton. But Machu Picchu is now a World Wonder, so it had to be our next sculpture" said the cooking boos of the hotel, E. solis.

Chocolate temptation
The sculpture reproduces the famous inca city, with the Wayna Picchu mount in the back. The town Aguas Calientes is also present in the artwork. The Christmas crib is placed there, surrounded by llamas and typical people from the peruvian andes.

The staff commented that many tourists found it irresistible. In fact, some people take pieces of the city to eat it, and the cheffs must be quit to fix the holes.

"Me and my wife stayed at the Savoy as a step during our journey in the Nilgiris. Ooty is not a very nice place but the scenari is neautiful. The Savoy has the charm of an old british hotel ( including some of the remaining dust). Our room was spacious and had a separate bed room. We had a wood fire in the chimney ( it was good to warm up the place eve in mid august) . However the room did not have a real window. Staff was very attentive, restaurant was good and reasonably priced. I can say it was a good experience , but I would not stay several days."

India is a place of magnificen palaces and temples. That's why there are some must-see in this luxurious destination:

• The Taj Mahal, regarded as one of the eight new wonders of the world, is indeed the most beautiful monument built by the Mughals, the Muslim rulers of India. Amazingly, Taj Mahal is built entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at dawn and sunset. The Taj seems to glow in the light of the full moon. On a foggy morning, the tourist experience the Taj as if suspended when viewed from across the Jamuna river.

• Maharaja’s Palace in Mysore, was the official and luxurious residence of the royal family of Mysore, and also housed the durbar (ceremonial meeting hall of the royal court). In fact, since Mysore has a number of historic palaces, it is commonly described as the City of Palaces. Despite it, the term "Palace of Mysore" specifically refers to one of these palaces, Amba Vilas. The palace was commissioned in 1897, and its construction was completed in 1912. It is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in Mysore.

• The Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai is a historic Hindu temple located in the holy city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This magnificent construction is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort, Goddess Parvati. It's interesting to know that the temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2500 year old city of Madurai, home of the Tamil language.

• The Red Fort (Lal Quila) in Old Delhi is the largest of the city's monuments. It's thick red sandstone walls are bulging with turrets and bastions, and have withstood the vagaries of time, and nature. The Lal Quila rises above a wide dry moat, in the northeast corner of the original city of Shahjahanabad. Its walls extend upto two kilometre, and vary in height from 18 metres on the river side to 33 metres on the city side.

• The Brihadeeswara Temple in Tanjore is also known as Rajarajeswaram. This construction is a brilliant example of the major heights achieved by Cholas in temple architecture. The amazing temple is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Great Living Chola Temples". In fact, this temple is one of India's most prized architectural sites. The temple stands amidst fortified walls that were probably added in the 16th century.

Cambodia: Phnom Penh

This city, once known as the “Pearl of Asia in the 1920s, Phnom Penh is known for having the traditional Khmer and French influenced architecture. We recommend to visit the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and the National Museum. Later in the same day you can go and watch the Wat Phnom or enter the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the Russian Market and the infamous Choeung Ek ‘Killing Fields’.
